On August 2nd the Benjamin Franklin Chapter SAR hosted a Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony at Berkshire Cemetery in Sunbury Ohio.
The ceremony was well-attended by many SAR and DAR chapters. The weather turned out very well with the sun and the humidity at a range that made the whole event comfortable.
There were 3 more patriots a Jacob Fisher, Gregory James and James Longwell who were honored. Earlier March of this year we honored 5 patriots making 8 total that have been recognized.

Membership in the Sons of the American Revolution is open to any man, age 18 or older, who can prove lineage to an ancestor who supported the war for American Independence, through military service, support, or political figures who supported the revolutionary effort.
