2025 Wreaths across America .

On Monday 8th December we received our truck load of wreaths that we will be laying on Saturday the 13th. Will be posting more of the ceremonies after the event. None the less it was cold and glad we had 10 brave individuals to handle it all …

Saturday December 13 12:00 pm all the prep and hard work comes to an end and after the opening ceremonies and honors the many volunteers and members of the Camp Charlotte and Hocking Valley SAR and Pickaway Plains and Mathias Ridenour DAR Chapters worked to put as many wreaths on the various veterans grave sites in Forest cemetery. Thanks for the photos from Brooklyn Dunn and the ladies of the Pickaway Plains Daughters of the American Revolution for the photo entries.

2024 Wreaths Across America

This years Wreaths Across America was well attended by many in the community. The Camp Charlotte SAR members as well as members of the Pickaway Plains DAR hosted the event with some members of the Hocking Valley Chapter in attendance with State Color Guard Commander Bob Hill. Over 2000 wreaths were place on veterans graves sites throughout Forest Cemetery out of the 4000 that are buried there, hopefully next year will be even better.

2023 Wreaths Across America

Camp Charlotte OHSSAR participating in this years Wreaths Across America at Forest Cemetery. The weather was perfect and many helping hands were in attendance. Our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach lasts all year long, far beyond the single day in December when we coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies. All throughout the year, Wreaths Across America works in a number of ways to show our veterans and their families that we will not forget—we will never forget.

2022 Wreaths Across America

The Camp Charlotte Chapter conducted their annual Wreathes Across America ceremony at our sponsor location, Forrest Cemetery in Circleville, Ohio on December 17th, 2022.  President Rick Hartinger presented the WAA presentation at 12:00 on that day which coincides with the national event conducted at Arlington National Cemetery and numerous other states, territories, and countries where service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice are laid at rest or represented.

2021 Camp Charlotte Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution participated in Remembering our Veterans on Wreathes Across America Day, December, 18th 2021

While we have Veterans Day in the fall and Memorial Day in the spring, our servicemen and women sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year, to preserve our freedoms. And in many homes across the U.S., every day there is an empty seat for one who is serving, or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. That is why our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach lasts all year long, far beyond the single day in December when we coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies. All throughout the year, Wreaths Across America works in a number of ways to show our veterans and their families that we will not forget—we will never forget.

Camp Charlotte supports Forest Cemetery by placing about 1,400 wreathes on the graves of those who have served.
