On April 9th in our on-going dedication to the SAR Youth education learning, members of the OHSSAR chapters The Hocking Valley and Camp Charlotte were invited to give a little presentation on Colonial living at the Westerville Elementary school. Members Kevin T. Donahue Camp Charlotte, Tom Hankins Hocking Valley, Bob Hill Hocking Valley and Max Demp Camp Charlotte provide a number of items of interest and knowledge from the period of the American Revolution all the kids were from various 4th grade classes and were pleasantly entertained with what we brought to share.

Membership in the Sons of the American Revolution is open to any man, age 18 or older, who can prove lineage to an ancestor who supported the war for American Independence, through military service, support, or political figures who supported the revolutionary effort.
